21st IEEE International Conference on Automation Science and Engineering (IEEE CASE 2025)

August 17 - August 21

INVERSE Contribution to IEEE CASE 2025

We are pleased to announce that our paper, “Gaussian Path Model Library for Intuitive Robot Motion Programming by Demonstration,” authored by Samuli Soutukorva, Markku Suomalainen, Martin Kollingbaum, and Tapio Heikkilä, has been accepted for presentation at the 21st IEEE International Conference on Automation Science and Engineering (IEEE CASE 2025). The conference will take place from August 17 to 21, 2025, at the Millennium Biltmore Hotel in Downtown Los Angeles, California, USA.

IEEE CASE is a flagship conference of the IEEE Robotics and Automation Society, serving as a premier forum for cross-industry and multidisciplinary research in automation. The 2025 edition focuses on the theme “Secured and Trustworthy Automation,” addressing the increasing reliance on secure and trustworthy systems in areas such as collaborative robotics, smart manufacturing, healthcare, and smart cities.

This research was partially funded by INVERSE and contributes to the KC use case. Specifically, the developed methods will be applied to track human operator motions, ensuring the correct insertion of screws and bolts in crane lift assemblies.
