IROS is a large and impactful forum for the international robotics research community to explore the frontier of science and technology in intelligent robots and smart machines, emphasizing future directions and the latest approaches, designs, and outcomes. Matteo Saveriano from University of Trento has been invited to talk at the workshop “Exploring the Role of Energy in Robot Learning and Control”. Jiatao Ding from University of Trento will present the papers “Explosive Jumping with Rigid and Articulated Soft Quadrupeds via Example Guided Reinforcement Learning” and “Quadrupedal Locomotion with Parallel Compliance: E-Go Design, Modelling, and Control “. The 2025 IEEE/RSJ International Conference on Intelligent Robots and Systems (IROS 2025) will be held from October 19 to 25, 2025 in Hangzhou, China.
